Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_91741_20221101_113539.jpg Notes: בית הכנסת לעולי קווקז - בית תנחום נמצא בטירת כרמל ברחוב הכלניות 4. בית הכנסת הפך לאתר תיירות מרכזי באזור בזכות הפאר שבו נבנה ועוצב. בית תנחום נבנה בתחילת המאה ה-21, בזכות יוזמת הרב יהודה יעקובוב, רב קהילת יוצאי קווקז, ותרומה של האחים זאור ואקיף גיללוב (גורשומוב), מעשירי מוסקבה, בני העדה הקווקזית. בית הכנסת נקרא על שם אביהם תנחום אשר נרצח במוסקבה בשנת 1997. בשנת 2004 נרצח זאור גיללוב ואף שמו הונצח במקום. בית הכנסת נחנך במרץ 2003 בטקס הכנסת ספר תורה בנוכחות מאות משתתפים.
