Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_91109_20220922_112650.jpg Notes: מוזיאון ל. א. מאיר לאמנות האסלאם הוקם על ידי ורה ברייס סלומונס ב 1974 לזכרו של הפרופסור אריה לאון מאיר אשר נפטר בשנת 1959 ומטרתו חקר אמנות האסלאם, והצגת מוצגים של אמנות האסלאם לציבור הרחב. רשום כעמותה משנת 1994.מרבית מוצגי המוזיאון נרכשו על ידי ריצ'רד אטינגהאוזן מכספה של הגב' ורה סלומונס, וקומץ פריטים נתרמו מאוספו של הפרופסור א. ל. מאיר. בקומה התחתונה של המוזיאון מוצג "אוסף השעונים של דויד ל. סלמונס" אחד משלושת האוספים החשובים בעולם של שעונים עתיקים, שרבים מהם נבנו על ידי השען-האמן לואי ברז'ה.
