Built in 1987 by <a href="http://shipbuildinghistory.com/shipyards/small/marinebuildersutica.htm" rel="nofollow">Marine Builders</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utica,_Indiana" rel="nofollow">Utica, Indiana</a> and originally operated by Marine Transportation, Utica. In 1992, the boat was sold to St. Jude and New Madrid Marine Service, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portageville,_Missouri" rel="nofollow">Portageville, Missouri</a>, and renamed <a href="https://intelligence.marinelink.com/vessels/vessel/capt-jeff-329263" rel="nofollow">"Capt. Jeff"</a>.
