Description

Looking ENE from <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wharf" rel="nofollow">wharf</a> near foot of 4th St. High water covers the wharf. Splash lounge and Islands restaurant (pink structures on 2 connected barges) are moored between 2nd and 3rd Sts.

In late 1987, Splash and Islands both moved to Louisville from <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/bill_alden/8510691956/">Newport, Kentucky</a>. Splash was in Louisville until 1992, when it was taken to Tunica, Mississippi, and converted to a floating casino. The Islands probably ended up there too.
