עברית: מעברת חוטר באר יעקב

Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_90324_מחוברים 1.jpeg Notes: מגדל המים ניצב סמוך לכביש לחוות אלנבי ונצר סרני. לידו נמצאים שרידי מבנים ומקלט שנותרו ממעברת "חוטר", מעברה שהייתה בשנות ה50-60. שמה נלקח מהפסוק בספר ישעיה ויצא חוטר מגזע ישי, ונצר משרשיו יפרה. המעברה הוקמה בתחילת שנות ה50 בגל העליה מחו"ל במקום בו היה מחנה בריטי. העולים התגוררו באוהלים בדונים וצריפים. על חלק ממתחם המעברה הוקמה שכונת וילות. חלק אחר נשאר מכוסה עשבים וקוצים. המקלט שנשאר נבנה ב1956 בזמן מבצע קדש. המעברה צורפה לבאר יעקב בשנת 1965. בשנות ה-80 הייתה המעברה האחרונה שנשארה בארץ.
