| Description |
English: 9¼ Milepost, Vale of Rheidol Railway 9¼ miles from Aberystwyth. 'Original' artefacts are now few and far between on the Vale of Rheidol Railway. This milepost, a few yards north west of Rheidol Falls station, is probably of Great Western or British Railways origin. Interestingly, after the Aberystwyth terminus was relocated into the main line station in 1968, all of the mileposts were rendered inaccurate as the line became about 1000 feet shorter and they were never adjusted accordingly. |
