English: Bunia, Ituri Province, 08 January 2019: The provincial Interim Governor, Pacific Keta UPAR, participated in a Medal-Award Ceremony in honor of members of the Bangladeshi contingent serving within MONUSCO; the ceremony was chaired by UN Force Commander in DRC, Lieutenant-General Elias Rodrigues Martins Filho who said such ceremonies are intended to honor peacekeepers for their dedicated service in difficult environments in a bid to restore peace and alleviate the suffering of civilians in the conflict zones. Français : Bunia, Province de l’Ituri, le 08 janvier 2019 : Le gouverneur intérimaire de la Province, Pacifique Keta UPAR, a participé à une cérémonie de remise de la médaille des Nations Unies aux casques bleus du contingent bangladais de la MONUSCO présidée par le Commandant de la Force des Nations Unies en RDC, le Lieutenant-Général Elias Rodrigues Martins Filho. Ce dernier a indiqué que ce genre de cérémonie est organisée pour honorer les soldats de la paix pour leur service dévoué dans un environnement difficile pour restaurer la paix et alléger les souffrances des civils dans les zones de conflit.
