Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_89521__DSC3488.jpg Notes: בית ג'לאט נבנה בשנת 1926 על פי תוכניות האדריכל ספירו ח'ורי פתאסיס עבור אליאס ג'לאט ורעייתו קתרין. אליאס ג'לאט היה איש עסקים ערבי נוצרי - קתולי אשר שימש כקונסול כבוד של הונגריה בירושלים, וכנשיא מועדון רוטרי בירושלים. בשנת 1948, לאחר דרישה של ארגון ההגנה, עזבו בני המשפחה את ביתם ועברו ללבנון. משם היגרו לאנגליה ולארצות הברית. המבנה נבנה בפאר רב, קומתו העליונה של המבנה מעוטרת באריחי קרמיקה ארמנית, והמבנה נחשב למבנה הקרמיקה המעוטר ביותר בירושלים.
