עברית: קיבוץ כפר מנחם

Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_88472_20220711_134819-01.jpeg Notes: כפר מנחם הוקם כמושב עובדים ב1935 על ידי קבוצת ארגון מנחם (אוסישקין) מרחובות. במאורעות 1936 המקום נעזב ונהרס ע"י הערבים. ב1937 הוקם היישוב מחדש במסגרת יישובי חומה ומגדל. ב1939 הוחלפו חברי הארגון בגרעין אמריקה-כרית, חברי השומר הצעיר, מהכשרה במושבה כפר הדר. אנשי גרעין כרית (כת רווקים יהיו תמיד) הגיעו מפולין והתאחדו עם גרעין קיבוץ אמריקה ב'. ב1939 עלה על הקרקע הקיבוץ כפר מנחם. אחר עזבו את תחום החומה והקימו יישוב קבע על גבעה. הצטרפו חברי קיבוץ אלגביש, יוצאי תנועת השומר הצעיר בגרמניה וגליציה.
