Looking SSW from roof of Farm Credit Banks building on north side of Main St. between 2nd and 3rd Sts.. Construction of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_foundation" rel="nofollow">foundation</a> of One Corporate Plaza at SE corner of 3rd and Main Sts. (later LG&E corporate offices). Beyond <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crane_(machine)#Tower_crane" rel="nofollow">tower crane</a>, <a href="http://www.levybuilding.com/History.aspx" rel="nofollow">Levy Building</a> (occupied by Levy Brothers clothing store until 1979; home of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Old_Spaghetti_Factory" rel="nofollow">Old Spaghetti Factory</a> since 1984; NE corner 3rd and Market). Beyond Levy Building is <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starks_Building" rel="nofollow">Starks Building</a> (NE corner 4th St. and Muhammad Ali Blvd.). To right of Starks Building is Brown and Williamson Tower (also known as Fifth Third Building; SE corner 4th and Liberty), which is partly obscured by <a href="http://louisville.hyatt.com/en/hotel/home.html" rel="nofollow">Hyatt Regency Louisville</a> (311 South 4th Street). At right, spire of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cathedral_of_the_Assumption_(Louisville)" rel="nofollow">Cathedral of the Assumption</a> (433 S. 5th St.). Beyond and left of Levy Building is <a href="http://brokensidewalk.com/2010/09/28/lost-louisville-tyler-hotel-on-jefferson-street/" rel="nofollow">Milner (originally Tyler) Hotel</a> (NE corner 3rd and Jefferson; imploded in 1995 to make way for expansion of Kentucky International Convention Center). To left of Milner Hotel are <a href="http://www.barringtonplaceapt.net/" rel="nofollow">Barrington Place apartments</a> (NE corner 3rd and Guthrie Sts.) Louisville, Kentucky. Dec. 1987.
