Description
English: Looking down from Clark Bridge.

Midland towboat upbound.

Looks like the stack casings are getting painted with Midland colors, so the boat was either recently acquired by Midland or just getting repainted.

This may be one of the many "turtleback" towboats built by St. Louis Ship, similar to the "O. Nelson Jones" (doc. # 294844) or the "Joseph Ray" (doc. # 272061). However, the shape of the after part of the superstructure is a little different from those 2 boats.

(Midland Enterprises was bought by Ingram Barge Co. in 2002.)
