(First Aid Squad) Residing with the Redit family at 38 Park Lane, Hornchurch Essex Died aged 29 years Wills and Admin, Ancestry. Edgar Thomas TROTMAN of 143 Lansdowne Road Seven Kings Essex. Died in date stated. His effects went to Ivy Lily Trotman his wife.

Sub Lieutenant (A) Telegraphist. Observer, Donald Frank ELLWOOD. RNVR Fleet Air Arm Born 1919 to Cyril and Florence May Ellwood, nee Vale. of Great Horkesley, Essex, England Died aged 23 years. Leading Airman, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner FAAFX/115075 Dennis RITCHIE. RNVR Fleet Air Arm Born 1924 to George Edward and Eleanor Catherine Ritchie, nee Hedley of Gateshead, Co. Durham, England. Parents were married in 1902 in R/D of Gateshead. Died aged 20 years

HMS Tracker Fleet Air Arm Died 10th January 1944, Cause of the crashed in Clyde Starboard Wing Broke Off in A Glide Bombing Exercise Astern of HMS Tracker, Possibly due to excessive dive speed.

Sub Lieutenant (A) Telegraphist, Pilot, George Alfred HOUGHTON. RNVR, Fleet Air Arm Son of Maj. Alfred Cecil Houghton, Royal Engineers, and Gladys Bertha Alice Houghton, of Hornchurch, Essex. Last known address, 1 Maywin Drive, Horn Church at Sea, Essex Died at sea aged 22 years of multiple injuries as the result of a flying accident. Laid to rest 17 January 1944 in Belfast City Cemetery, Northern Ireland. Glenalina Extn Sec. D. Grave 28.

Sub Lieutenant Observer Edgar Bentley DIXON RNVR. Fleet Air Arm Born 1924 William Bentley and Gertrude Dixon, nee Craven presumed killed at sea aged 24 years as the result of a flying accident. Commemorated on the Lee-on-Solent Memorial, Hampshire Wills and Admin Ancestry Resided at 374 Leeds Road Nelson Lancashire. Died on date stated. His effects went to Gertrude Dixon wife William Bentley Dixon.

Leading Airman, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner FAA/FX89594 Robin Frederick GATES. Royal Navy. Fleet Air Arm Born 1923 to Frederick William and Annie Elizabeth Gates, of Rosyth. His father was a shipwright at Rosyth Shipyard from 1915 to 1924 Presumed killed at sea aged 21 years as the result of a flying accident. Commemorated on the Lee-on-Solent Memorial, Hampshire

Passenger in the air craft, he died aged 19 years.(C1925) Last residence place was Tooting, London. Son of John Alexander and Lilian Jeannie Smith, of Dovercourt, Essex. HMS Tracker Died 1st April 1944, Artic Convoy Crashed when landing on board HMS Tracker when returning from an attack on a U-Boat off the Kola Peninsula Northwest Russia. Sub Lieutenant (A) Telegraphis, Pilot, Alan Edward BALLENTYNE. RNVR Fleet Air Arm Born 1921 to Edward Albert and Hilda Lilian Ballentyne, of Barkingside, Essex Died in the sick bay on Thacker aged 22 years of multiple burns and shock as the result of a flying accident. He was buried at sea. The remainder of the crew survived Commemorated on the Lee-on-Solent Memorial, Hampshire Wills and Admin, Ancestry. Alan Edward BALLENTYNE of 14 Freemantle Road Barkingside Ilford Essex did on date stated. His effects went to his father, shipping clerk.

HMS Tracker Died 29th April 1944, Leading Cook P/MX85170, Cecil Morgan FOOT Born 31 May1922 at New Milton Hampshire to Herbert Sidney and Margaret Foot, nee Bennett of Southbourne, Bournemouth, Hampshire 1939 he may have been residing with his parents at 19 Carlyle Road Bournemouth, Hampshire. Accidently shot and died at sea. Gunshot wound to his chest aged 21 years. He was buried at sea Commemorated on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial, Hampshire

HMS Trumpeter Fleet Air Arm 10th August 1944. Shot down over Lesporev, Norway Shot down by flak off the Lepsoyrenna Light Near Vigr when minelaying during Operation Offspring

RNVR Fleet Air Arm Born 7 November 1925 at Stone Staffordshire to Percy Edward and Louise Mansfield, nee Smith of Stone, Staffordshire 1939 with his parents at 83 Princes Street, Stone Staffordshire, occupation machine shop errand boy. Killed in action aged 22 years.
