English: First. Lt. Mathew Fazzari, 25, of College Place, Wash., originally of Walla Walla, Wash., died in when his OH-58D Kiowa helicopter was engaged by enemy forces over eastern Afghanistan June 6. The Gonzaga University graduate was assigned to the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade. This was his first combat deployment. Fazzari is survived by his wife, Tovah, and their two sons, Dominic and Samuel. |
