第一線部隊に随伴して走行し、遭遇する地隙や河川に架柱橋を迅速に架設し、戦車等を通過させるために使用する。本器材は、74式特大型トラック車両部に架設装置を取り付け、2分割2段重ねした導板を搭載したもので、導板は水平方向に繰り出して連結、架設される。導板先端には伸縮可能な架柱が取り付けられ、油圧作動により迅速な架橋ができる。施設科部隊に装備されている。
