English: Head and part of the bow of a cast copper alloy Roman brooch. Bow contain the cells for a pattern of geometric (triangles and diamond) enamel inlay, now lost. Plain round sectioned wings. Underside of bow hollow. On the head is the remains of a transverse perforated plate. Hinge type pin mechanism. |
