Description 80-G-648680: Humanitarian Actions. Mrs. William J. Boudreau, her son Robert 16 and daughter Claire 22 of Fall River, Massachusetts, were rescued from Narragansett Bay, by five sailors from USS Blair (DE 147) after being washed off roof of their house by Hurricane Carol, August 31, 1954. U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives. (2017/01/31).
