English: Cast copper alloy hair pin. Roman. Bead-and-reel style, dating to the second and early thrird century AD.
Bead head followed by an elongated spindle shaped section followed by another bead. the shaft is bent at right angles towards the end. The shaft is circular in section and 2mm in diameter, tapering to a sharp point. |
