Summary
[edit]Description770900 799 Burda Halle EDTO.jpg |
English: Offenburg airfield (EDTO) in 1977. Aircraft movements in conjunction with the flying competition 'Deutschlandflug' that was using Offenburg as one of its stops during the 1977 tour. The hangar in the backgroud left belonged to the Burda publishing company, and the company's primary aircraft in those days, a Beechcraft King Air 100 is just being marshalled back into the hangar. Later, it housed the successor company executive aircraft, Dassault Falcon 10 D-CBUR, which was written off in a CFT accident on approach to Offenburg in August 1996. The main GA apron in the foreground, near the control tower, is occupied by several single-engined light aircraft. |
