7130F4 roman or Saxon spindle whorl
Description
English: Roman or Saxon ceramic spindle whorl, 38.5mm in diameter and 10mm thick. The object is in fair condition with some wear. It has a pinkish/grey patina and weighs 15.73 grams. The whorl has a central hole 8mm in diameter and appears to have been formed from a thick pottery sherd.
