Description
Deutsch: Die sogenannte „700-jährige Eiche“ beim Forsthof Grüner Jäger östlich von Stapel im Amt Neuhaus (Landkreis Lüneburg) gilt als "dickste" Eiche in Niedersachsen, was den Stammumfang betrifft. Ihr Alter soll allerdings eher um 500 Jahre liegen.
English: So called "700-year-Oak" near the village Stapel (Amt Neuhaus, district Lüneburg, northern Germany) is supposed to be the "fatest" oak in Lower Saxony. The true age might be more than 500 years.
