English: Six large tesserae blocks. Roman.

Traces of lime plaster on the base. 5 are a grey, overfired ceramic, possibly a modified floor tile. One is lighter and is made up of a more sandy red fabric. The large size of the tesserae suggest that they were used on a low quality, low status floor meant for heavy footfall. Largest - 30mm x 28mm x 20mm. Smallest - 24mm x 24mm x 15mm.

Combined weight of 192.27g.
