Description
English: From the source:

A painting on ivory, a miniature portrait of Guru Nanak Singh, the first Sikh Guru. Full face, head and shoulders. White beard. Coat reddish-brown. On the shoulders a multi-coloured patch work shawl. Blue and white background.

Made between 1850 and 1870 in Lahore. Now at V&A museum (item number IS 150-1954)

On the back of the painting is handwritten, "Goory Nana [sic] founder of the Sikh's religion".
