Description
English: On the day before they are due to depart from Vietnam, members of D (Delta) Company, 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (6RAR), line up on parade for a memorial service to comrades who lost their lives during the company's tour of duty. During the ceremony, a plaque inscribed with the names of the fallen, including those killed at the Battle of Long Tan, will be laid and dedicated at the memorial at centre. The soldier nearest the camera at right is the Company Commander, 6776 Major Harry Arthur Smith, MC.
