Title
6C8132
Description
English: Cast copper alloy belt mount. Medieval.

Strip of copper alloy sheet, 45mm x 12mm, folded in half and held together by a single rivet close to the end. The rivet is still in place and measures 2mm in diameter.

One half of the strip has been scalloped on three edges. The opposite half has straight edges. A deep horizontal notch is in the centre of the fold on the scalloped side of the item, although the notch does not go all the way through the sheet, meaning that this is not a buckle strap.
