Description |
English: Early Medieval? stone spindle whorl, 36mm in diameter and 24mm thick. The object has a creamish patina and is circular in form and oval in cross section. It has a central hole, 10mm in diameter and has rounded edges. It is decorated with a series of inscribed ring and dot marks, 5mm in diameter, running in two lines around its centre. |
