GB Railfreight's class 66/7 (JT42CWR) number 66702 named Blue Lightning in First GBRf blue and mustard yellow livery with orange cantrail and solebar stripes.. Here it is photographed hauling empty gypsum containers mounted on flat wagons from Mountfield Sidings (GBRf) East Sussex to Doncaster Down Decoy (4E19) on 13 August 2014. To comply with gas emission regulations limestone (CaCO3) delivered to the power station (by other trains) is used to remove sulfur dioxide (SO2) from the flue gasses, by converting it into gypsum (CaSO4·2H2O). The waste product (gypsum) is then delivered to British Gypsum's Robertsbridge Works by train where it is used to manufacture plaster and plasterboard. 66702 (works number 20008201-2) was built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division, London, Ontario, Canada in 2001 and unloaded from the Heavy Lift Ship at Newport Docks. This locomotive was named by Tiernan Cassar, aged 3 at the National Railway Museum on 30th August 2002 to celebrate the anniversary of Railtrack's partnership with GB Railfreight in the haulage of infrastructure services. Wagons being hauled included 640634, 640644, 640688, 640657, 640674, 640663, 640641, 640901, 640642, 640660, 640665, 6406??, 640682, 640661 and 640651.
