Description
English: Six lithic tools

1, burin, large bulb of percussion on the ventral, multiple flaking scars on the dorsal. Burin style flake removal on the top edge, this then has short, abrupt retouch along the length of the burin. Creamy grey patina forming, the retouch has removed the patina, grey flint with lighter patches. Date late Neolithic -early Bronze Age. 29mm 19mm, 5mm, 2.36g

2, awl, large bulb of percussion on the ventral, one arise on the dorsal with 10% cortex near the butt. The right edge is very rough through natural damage, the left edge is a notch that has direct, short, abrupt retouch that has created a point on the top edge. Creamy grey patina forming, the retouch has removed the patina, dark grey flint with lighter patches. Date late Neolithic -early Bronze Age. 29mm, 18mm, 6mm, 2.47g

3, point, small bulb of percussion on the ventral, one arise running down the middle of the dorsal. Short, semi-abrupt retouch on both sides culminates in a point at the top, the tip of the point is truncated. Light grey flint with a creamy patina. Date Neolithic. 35mm, 18mm, 6mm, 4.31g

4, notched piece, flake with a large bulb of percussion on the ventral, two arises on the dorsal. Short, direct, semi-abrupt retouch creating a concave notch on one side. Creamy grey patina forming, the retouch has removed the patina, grey flint with lighter patches. Date Early Bronze Age. 16mm, 16mm, 4mm, 0.92g

5, truncated flint axe, this is the butt section of the axe. It is oval in cross section this has multiple flaking scars on the dorsal and ventral sides, the tip of the butt its also truncated. grey flint with a creamy whit patina covering the surface. Date Neolithic 42mm 35mm, 11mm, 19.15g

6, retouched piece there is no bulb of percussion on the ventral and multiple flaking scars on the dorsal. On side has short, semi-abrupt, direct retouch. Dark grey flint with light speckles, date Bronze Age. 22mm, 23mm, 9mm, 4.39
