Description
English: Roman Copper alloy Dupondius of Commodus, 27mm in diameter, 3mm thick with a coin axis of 12. The coin is in good condition with a brown patina but the edges have lost their surface and the core of the coin is corroded. The obverse shows a laureate bust facing right with very curly hair and long beard. No inscription is present. The Reverse shows inscription reads The reverse shows a standing figure, possibly Genio? holding a cornucopia (possibly at an altar) No inscription is present.
