Description
English: DR 50 50 93-26 428-9 at Seebad Heringsdorf train station
Deutsch: Güterzuggepäckwagen (Waggonbau Bautzen 1956), wegen des Rückganges der begleiteten Güterzugfahrten wurden die ersten Wagen schon 1959 in den Reisezugwagenpark abgegeben, Wagenübergänge wurden jedoch nicht eingebaut. Der Wagen im Bild trägt Reisezugwagenanschriften aus den 1980ern und läuft auf ursprünglich gleitgelagerten Umbauradsätzen, erkennbar an den hohen Achslagerdeckeln mit Verschlussschrauben auf ein-, fünf- und neun-Uhr-Position. Die unter der Dachkante eingebauten, aufklappbaren Schlusssignale mit Tag- und Nachtzeichen sind ein typisches Merkmal von Wagen aus den späten Fünfzigern. Die Anwendung des Nachtzeichen am Tag war vor 1959 nicht zugelassen.
