Description
English: U.S. Army Pfc. Isaiah Rodriguez, assigned to Bastion Company, 54th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 173rd Airborne Brigade, listens during a briefing on conducting first aid in a hostile environment during North and West Africa Response Force (NARF) training at Aviano Air Base, Italy on Dec. 19, 2023. With a focus on Africa, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), provides U.S. Africa Command with a joint task force headquarters capability and the NARF, poised to respond to any contingency to protect U.S. persons, facilities and interests. The NARF's mission is crisis and contingency response in North and West Africa, including protecting U.S. interests in the U.S. Africa Command area of responsibility. (U.S. Army photo by Spc.
