| Description | Saturday April 2nd 2016 saw the launch of my preserved Leyland Olympian ECW coach-type C454GKE which was new to Maidstone and District for their Invictaway coach service into London. This was (I believe) the last vehicle delivered to M&D under National Bus Company ownership, it was the last of this style of ECW coach bodywork to enter service of the 50 built. I've owned this coach since May 2009 and a gradual restoration was completed to run it to the South East Bus Festival in Detling where it is seen just before departure on the long journey home to Hampshire. |
