GOLDEN EMBLEM — Intensely yellow buds; blooms of superb shape and texture, borne freely on erect, branching plants ; attrac- tive glossy foliage. Each, $1.00; dozen, $10.00. QRUSS AN TEPLITZ—The one variety that is always in bloom—and we mean it I A bright, pleasing crimson. Splendid for bedding. HADLEY—A distinctive shade of bright red. A sturdy grower and free bloomer. IRISH ELEGANCE—Buds of pink bronze that open with shades of apricot and yellow. Of hardy growth and continually in flower, HOOSIER BEAUTY—Dark red flowers of noble shape and pronounced fragrance. JONKHEER J. L. MOCK—Clear imperial pink, reverse of petals rosy-silvery white. A giant of the La France type. Awarded two gold medals, one silver medal, and five first prizes in Europe. KAISERIN AUGUSTA VICTORIA—After serving for a third of a century this still is, to our minds, the grandest white in cultivation. A continuous bloomer, producing quantities of snow-white flow'ers from June until frost. (Il- lustrated on opposite page.) KILLARNEY—Of a lovely deep pink, equally attractive in bud or full bloom. MIRACLE BRAND ROSE AND SHRUB FOOD A scientifically compounded chemical fertilizer holding in correct proportion all those ele- ments needed by Roses and other plants of shrubby charac- ter, to do their best. It en- courages a luxuriant growth and supplies the plants with the vigor needed for greatest blooming results. 5=lb. bags, 75 c.; 10=lb. bags, $1.25. Special quotations on larger quantities KILLARNEY BRILLIANT—An even darker pmk than Killarney.- Flowers of true Killarney type. Splendid grower and free bloomer. LA CHAMPAGNE—Large buds turn into semi-double blooms, peach-colored, with yellow base. Vigorous. LADY HILLINQDON—One of the most popular varieties, producing yellow flowers of a particularly pleasing apricot shade. It is one of the most free flowering and one of the most fragrant. LA FRANCE—Beautiful bright silvery pink with pale lilac shading. Fiowers large and borne freely. Delightfully fragrant. LOS ANGELES—The color of this rose is indescribable. A flame pink shades into a golden yellow, and the whole is toned with salmon. The striking effect of this combina- tion cannot be put on paper, but it has caused many people to overlook the^ hardiness of this variety and its delightful fragrance when writ- ing a description. It is a most popular cut flower and good for city culture. Each, $1.00; dozen, $10.00. LUXEMBOURG—A rich golden yellow rose, large, very double, and of vigorous branching habit. MADAME ABEL CHA= TENAY — Carmme-tinted salmon. Flowers large, exquisitely formed and charmingly colored.
