des achtzehnten und den ersten des neun-zehnten Jahrhunderts eine feine Gastwirtschaft betrieben. James Booth verlegte späterseine Gärtnerei auf die andere Seite der Eibchaussee. Wann dies geschah, konnteich nicht in Erfahrung bringen. Am 25. Dezember 1811 schloß/a;«^^ Booth seineAugen zum ewigen Schlafe. In der Leitung der Baumschule und Gärtnerei folgte ihm sein am 19. November1799 in Klein-Flottbek geborener Sohn John Richmond Booth. Während seiner Ge-schäftsführung kamen die außerordentlich schlechten Jahre in der ersten Hälfte des19. Jahrhunderts. In dieser Zeit wurden die Gärtnereien zum Verkauf angeboten,aber sie blieben unverkauft. Im noch nicht vollendeten 48. Lebensjahre, am14. September 1847, sXd.ih John Richmond Booth. Er hinterließ die Gärtnerei seinenSöhnen Lorenz Booth und John Cornelius Booth. Lorenz Booth, in Klein-Flottbek am 3. Juli 1832 geboren, blieb bis zum Jahre1868 in der Leitung der Gärtnerei, wurde dann Kaufmann und starb am 16. Januar Tafel 1^
