Description
English: A Chinese banknote issued by the Agricultural and Industrial Bank of China which was a local Chinese bank that operated during the period that the government of the Republic of China still administered the Chinese Mainland, this period was marked with high political unrest and turmoil that lead to many Chinese banks issuing their own banknotes either denominated in "National currency" or "Local currency".

(For the People's Republic of China, the URAA took effect on January 1, 1996. For the Republic of China (ROC), the URAA took effect on January 1, 2002.[1])
