Ángel Cantero | 9-9-2014 - El arbispo de Valladolid presidió la Eucaristía conmemorativa de los 50 años de la parroquia Santo Domingo de Guzmán, situada en el barrio del "Cuatro de Marzo". En la celebración estuvo acompañado por el párroco actual, Heliodoro Ruiz Hernández y por los miembros del equipo parroquial: Eulogio Rodríguez (Diácono permanente), Nemesio Julián Pérez Pérez (Adscrito) y Eliecer Vázquez Villafañe (Colaborador). El urbanismo en Valladolid, a partir de 1950 es la historia de un crecimiento incontrolado de barrios próximos a las nuevas fábricas, como Las Delicias, La Rondilla, España,... Para atenuar esta situación, el Instituto Nacional de la Vivienda y de la Obra Sindical del Hogar promovieron en la capital vallisoletana diferentes iniciativas residenciales. Entre ellas destaca, por su calidad urbanística, el Grupo de Viviendas acogidas al régimen de renta limitada "Cuatro de Marzo", localizado en el último tramo del paseo de Zorrilla.
