Français : Cette animation montre le principe du robinet à 4 voies, de Denis Papin. Ce système, permet de distribuer le vide, alternativement, dans un cylindre situé à gauche, puis dans un cylindre situé à droite. Il est à ma connaissance le premier système de distribution connu. Il fut mis en oeuvre par Denis Papin, devant la Royal Society de Londres, vers 1683, pour faire fonctionner sa "machine à transporter au loin la force des rivières". |
