Description 22 June 1957. Leathernecks of the 4th Marine Corps Provisional Atomic Exercise Brigade round out morning exercises with a mile run at Camp Desert Rock, NV. The Brigade arrived this week from Camp Pendleton, CA preparatory to their air-ground exercise in connection with an atomic test at the Nevada Test Site now scheduled for June 27. Physical conditioning is an important part of the extensive-training schedule for the atomic Marines at their desert camp.
