4 Post Medieval strap fittings
Description
English: Post Medieval 4 strap fittings with two integral attachment spikes on reverse, 16th – 17th century. 
- quatrefoil, flat, spikes bent (outwards) indicating set into leather c.2.5mm thick. 12mm across. Cf. Read 2001 nos.278-9.
- white-metal coated, with stubs of spikes, flat, as Read 2003 no.292 but lacking lower terminal. 25mm x 9mm.
- flat, similar to Read 2001 no.295, but with a curved cut-out moulding on both sides near narrow end. Spikes bent indicating set into leather c.2mm thick. 21mm x 13mm.
- slightly convex, with stubs of spikes, as Read 2003 no.328. Cf. Read 2001 no.328. 38mm x 17.5mm.
