Description
English: 4 Medieval strap ends:
 -one or two-piece, front sheet plate with rivet near straight attachment edge, other end missing. Decorated along the sides and edge with pairs of lines of punched dashes. Between them further pairs of lines zig-zag and cross. Surviving length 32mm, width 11mm.
 - composite with forked spacer, one sheet and parts of fork missing, very sharp lozengiform section collared knop (as Dress Access. no.677), one rivet near straight attachment edge and another near knop. Length 38mm, width 17mm, and 11mm before narrowing to knop.
  -composite with sheet spacer occupying full width, both sheets with white-metal coating, two rivets, one missing near concave attachment edge, the other near pointed end or knop as Dress Access. no.696 etc. Length 32mm, width 10mm, spacer ending 12.5mm short of attachment edge.
-composite with sheet spacer occupying full width, badly bent, two rivets, one near straight attachment edge and one near trefoil knop, front plate decorated with wavy line of rocker-arm engraving down full length. Length 42mm, width 6.5mm and 5mm before knop, spacer ending 14mm short of attachment edge. Containing abundant amounts of textile.
