Pohled na omítky levé (východně od rizalitu) části severního křídla tvrze z prostoru před tvrzí ve směru sever - jih. Zpod destruované barokní omítky kolem oken vystupují pozdně gotické a renesanční omítky dokumentující vývoj fasády severního křídla. Tvrz Popovice je vynikající ukázkou vývoje panského sídla od tvrze k renesančnímu a baroknímu zámečku. "Fasáda se středním rizalitem s dochovanými raně renesančními omítkami se sgrafitem téměř v celé výši. Zatímco v přízemí mají okna dochována kamenná ostění pozdně gotického charakteru, rámována paspartami, zdobenými diagonálně natočenými liliemi, v patře jsou velké barokní otvory se šambránami se suprafenestrami s obloukovitě vzepjatými římsami. Z barokní úpravy se dochovaly ještě zbytky parapetních výplní a stopy pásové mezipatrové římsy a nárožních lizén. Zejména v pravé části jsou vetší zbytky novobarokních omítek." (Podle M. Rykl)
