Title
443D47.JPG Halfpenny
Description
English: Silver Medieval Scottish cut halfpenny, 9mm long. Roughly a quarter of the coin is missing. The coin was identified straight from the ground and was muddy. The obverse was worn with no portrait present. The inscription was very difficult to read but may have an E or S visible. The reverse shows part of a voided cross with a star in each quarter. The inscription reads HON (h =last letter of moneyers name). The coin is possibly a halfpenny of Alexander?
