Description 428-GX-USN 1154646: Davisville, Rhode Island. Builder First Class James V. Mills, (facing camera), and Equipment Operator Second Class David G. Butler try on new “Unisuits” which are inflated to insulate divers from extremely cold weather. The members of Underwater Construction Team One at the Naval Construction Battalion Center will put the suits to use in the Antarctic where they are scheduled to survey the condition of a pier at McMurdo Sound.
