Description 428-GX-K-128507: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. View from portside bridge area of USS Wisconsin (BB 64) looking back at starboard amidships of USS Iowa (BB 61), showing three of the 5”/38 cal gun mounts on Iowa. All secondary anti-aircraft type guns as the 40MM Quad mounts and single 20MM guns have already been removed from “mothballed” battleships. Photograph received April 1980. Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives. (2016/10/25).
