Title |
English: 4. Footer Stabilization, Water Infiltration, South Wall. |
||||
Description |
English: The historic masonry wall foundation is not fully intact. Pieces of the masonry are detached from the wall. A deep hole has been dug around the house in order to repair the foundation. Foundation walls and the building footer on the south wall were in poor condition. Without a strong foundation, additional settling and movement in the masonry walls will continue to be a problem. NPS crews will stabilize the foundation by filling in voids in the masonry walls and installing a footer.
