English: 1st Lt. Nicholas K. Mitchell of 2nd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, Gunner D. Chester VI, Col. Mark H. Landes, Staff Sgt. Gregory S. Davis, and Sgt. 1st Class Gunner D. Chester V, all with 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division, listen to Chester V’s biography during his retirement Thursday at the 3rd Brigade’s headquarters. Chester V was commended for his faithful mascot service to the brigade’s soldiers and families, despite his notoriety for popping children’s balloons and untrustworthiness around hamburgers and fried chicken.
