Description
עברית: רדינג היא תחנת כוח לייצור חשמל הממוקמת בצפון תל אביב, בצמוד לשפך הירקון. התחנה נקראת על שמו של הלורד רופוס דניאל אייזקס, המרקיז מרדינג, שהיה יו"ר דירקטוריון חברת החשמל בשנות ה־20 וה־30. תחנת הכוח החלה להיבנות בסוף שנת 1937, והושלמה בספטמבר 1938.
English: Reading is a power plant for electricity generation located in north Tel Aviv, next to the Yarkon estuary. The station is named after Lord Rufus Daniel Isaacs, the Marquis Marding, who was chairman of the IEC board in the 1920s and 1930s. The power plant began construction in late 1937, and was completed in September 1938.
This is a photo of a place that is recognized as a heritage site by the Council for Conservation of Heritage Sites in Israel.
