Inside this there is a framing incised line around a field containing four attachment holes (one at each corner) with a central decoration. This comprises an incised line circle around a line and pellet design of a bird with outstretched wings and its head to the left. The front of the plate reatins areas of gilding. the back of the plate is undecorated. On the left edge of the plate are the remnants of two tabs which once joined to the missing back plate.
