Description |
English: Cast copper alloy trumpet brooch length 27mm, width 12mm, thickness 14mm, weight 7.92g. The head is a large oval plate with a rearward facing lug that holds the spring in place. The spring is made up of four curls, the pin is missing. The head narrows to the leg of the brooch, halfway down the leg is a moulded knee. After the knee the leg has been truncated resulting in the loos of the catch plate. Date 75-175AD |
