Description
Italiano: Museo Archeologico di Bari. Cratere a volute apulo, 400-350 a.C., da Ceglie del Campo. Lato anteriore con quadriga guidata da Nike e una scena ispirata probabilmente alla tragedia Gli Eraclidi, di Euripide, con il trasporto del corpo di Macaria, figlia di Eracle. Lato posteriore con Macaria che esce dal tempio per comunicare la sua volontà di immolarsi per favorire la vittoria degli Ateniesi e degli Eraclidi.
