Description
Français : Rue Notre-Dame Ouest, dans le quartier Saint-Henri, à Montréal, en 1945

À gauche, le 3795, rue Notre-Dame Ouest, l'endroit où était situé le Quinze-Cents. Aujourd'hui un Dollarama a remplacé le Quinze-Cents.
Dans le roman Bonheur d'occasion, Gabrielle Roy décrit le lieu alors :
« Le restaurant occupant le fond du Quinze-Cents... et dans le miroitement de la verroterie, des panneaux nickelés, de la ferblanterie... dans l'odeur violente du caramel, entre ses grandes glaces pendues au mur où se voyaient d'étroites bandes de papier gommé, annonçant le menu du jour et au son bref, crépitant, du tiroir-caisse... » (ch. I)
